Intercom

The Intercom feature enables you to dial another extension and have the call automatically answered on the recipient’s phone in hands-free mode. If the recipient’s phone supports intercom functionality, they will hear you immediately without needing to take any action. This feature is ideal for quick, direct communication.

1. Dial the feature code: Dial *0 + [extension]. For example, to use intercom with extension 101, you would dial *0101

2. Automatic Connection: The recipient’s phone will 1) automatically answer the call, and 2) enable hands-free mode (i.e. speakerphone).

3. Begin Speaking: Once connected, you can immediately start your conversation. The recipient can hear and respond to you directly, as this is a two-way communication feature.

Important Notes

• Phone Compatibility: The recipient’s phone must support intercom functionality for this feature to work.

• Privacy: Be mindful that the intercom feature initiates hands-free communication, which might be audible to others near the recipient’s phone.
